CENTRINITY AND CABLE & WIRELESS SIGN AGREEMENT TO DELIVER FIRSTCLASS UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS TO SERVICE PROVIDERS

RICHMOND HILL, ON, CANADA - December 11, 2001 - Centrinity Inc. (TSE: CTI), which develops and markets the FirstClass Communications Platform, today announced that it has signed a definitive three-year sales and service agreement with Cable & Wireless to jointly offer FirstClass Unified Communications to service providers in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Through the agreement, Centrinity will host its FirstClass Unified Communications technology on the Cable & Wireless global IP network which provides connectivity to customers located in more than 70 countries.

Cable & Wireless' service provider customers will now have the ability to further expand their product portfolio and offer enhanced services by delivering FirstClass Unified Communications to their customer base.  This in turn will increase their market share and revenues.

FirstClass Unified Communications is a robust, carrier-class technology that converges users' voice mail, email and faxes into one unified mailbox that can be accessed from a variety of devices including cell phone, telephone, laptop and handheld devices.  In addition, users can access their messages and information from any location - anytime, anywhere. In today's competitive landscape having the ability to take control of one's information is seen as being key to improving individual and organization-wide communications, productivity and responsiveness to stakeholders.

Cable & Wireless selected Centrinity's FirstClass Unified Communications after conducting a review of the leading Unified Communication vendors in the U.K. The company was seeking a collaborative relationship that would enable it to extend its solution portfolio for service providers, having recognized the growing potential for Unified Communications technology within its customer base.

"Our service provider customers are keen to capitalize on Unified Communications technology and we see significant revenue opportunities from embracing these capabilities," said Andrew McGrath, president, Service Providers at Cable & Wireless. "After a number of months of working to identify the best Unified Communications technology that would meet the requirements of our service provider customers, Centrinity's FirstClass Unified Communications proved to be the logical choice, as it recognizes the distinctive needs of our service provider customers.  In addition, FirstClass surpassed our technological requirements in terms of functionality, reliability, scalability and performance."

"Cable & Wireless is a key partner and sales channel in the U.K. and Ireland as part of our go-to-market strategy in providing service providers with our FirstClass Communications Platform," said Myles McGovern, president and CEO, Centrinity Inc.  "Today's announcement further demonstrates Centrinity's ability to deliver and continually stay one step ahead of the competition.  For more than a decade our company has been able to remain in a leadership position in this industry due to our core architectural strengths and expertise. We look forward to further strengthening our relationship with Cable & Wireless."
