CENTRINITY ANNOUNCES FIRSTCLASS 7.0: LATEST VERSION OF ITS AWARD-WINNING MESSAGING PLATFORM
New version boasts enhanced feature set and provides a strong integration and migration path for existing Microsoft Exchange users

TORONTO, CANADA - July 15, 2002 - Centrinity Inc. (TSX: CTI), the developers of the FirstClass Communications Platform, today announced general availability of FirstClass® 7.0.  The latest version of the FirstClass messaging platform introduces the FirstClass® Migrator and Connector tools for MicrosoftTM Exchange®, which enables existing Exchange users to integrate and migrate to FirstClass with ease. FirstClass 7.0 also provides a number of new enhancements to its core Calendaring facilities and the Standard Web and Mobile Web Interfaces. The new version also offers additional security features.

Alaska Airlines is a long-time user of FirstClass. The Seattle-based leading airline is currently using FirstClass 7.0. "Centrinity's FirstClass requires minimal hardware and administration. It is a high-performance, scalable and reliable communications platform. FirstClass enables us to seamlessly and securely improve our communications and responsiveness to customers and colleagues," said Robert M. Reeder, senior vice president and chief information officer, Alaska Airlines.

"With each new generation of the FirstClass product suite, we're enabling our users to evolve their messaging platform into a more powerful platform for all of their communication needs," said John Myers, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Centrinity Inc.

"FirstClass is proving to be a compelling alternative for organizations becoming frustrated with the increasing licensing fees of their existing software systems. With this in mind, FirstClass 7.0 offers the FirstClass Connector and Migrator tool for Microsoft Exchange and Outlook," added Mr. Myers.

"As a leading cross-platform software product offering vertical market-oriented messaging functionality in a single package, FirstClass 7.0 is an important milestone for Centrinity," said Ken Landoline, vice president and director of the telecom research department at The Robert Frances Group. "Organizations looking to implement an end-to-end secure messaging platform for their employees can take advantage of a very sophisticated and affordable solution with the out-of-the box functionality found in FirstClass."

What's New in FirstClass 7.0
· The FirstClass® Connector for MicrosoftTM Exchange® Server provides real time, seamless interoperability with Exchange 5.5, providing directory synchronization, calendar synchronization through 'meeting request/response' messages, and messaging reports (i.e., delivery, non-delivery, read).

· The FirstClass® Migrator for MicrosoftTM Exchange® Server tool can import all of the accounts, public folders and distribution lists from Exchange 5.5 and seamlessly recreate the accounts within FirstClass.  The FirstClass® Migrator tool for OutlookTM migrates individual user's Outlook-based content, such as messages and contacts, to FirstClass.

· FirstClass 7.0 features a rich suite of enhancements to the core FirstClass Calendaring facilities. These enhancements include a schedule conflict identification feature to make it easier for users to find the best possible time to schedule meetings with an individual or groups of people.

· The performance, feature set, and look and feel of the Standard FirstClass Web Interface have been significantly enhanced and users can now access virtually all of the same capabilities available via the FirstClass Client software through the Web.

· The Mobile Web Interface now provides support for a new Web interface designed for use with small screen Personal Digital Assistants, such as Pocket PCs and Palm OS devices that have wireless IP connectivity and a standard HTML browser.

· Single Sign-in Support whereby FirstClass can now be integrated into popular existing Single Sign-in and authorization systems such as LDAP and Microsoft's Active Directory. This enables FirstClass to seamlessly fit with a number of the user management systems currently being deployed.
