CENTRINITY PROMOTES SCOTT WELCH TO DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Centrinity announces that co-founder Scott Welch to be promoted to Director, Product Management
Toronto, ON-September 20, 2002-Centrinity, Inc., (TSX: CTI), which develops and markets leading unified communications and collaborative groupware technologies, today announced that Scott Welch has been promoted to Director, Product Management. Mr. Welch will direct the continued evolution of FirstClass, Centrinity's core product.
Most recently, Mr. Welch was Chief Evangelist of Centrinity, responsible for the promotion of FirstClass to a wide variety of audiences, including customers, press, and analysts. In addition to his role as an external product spokesperson, Mr. Welch has also provided strategic leadership for the FirstClass product.
Prior to his role as Chief Evangelist, Mr. Welch was co-founder in 1989 of SoftArc (later rebranded Centrinity), and served as Chief Executive Officer of SoftArc from 1995 through 1999. As founder and CEO of SoftArc, Mr. Welch played a critical role in the development and early success of FirstClass.
