Centrinity Announces Board Of Director Changes And The Engagement Of Financial Advisors
TORONTO, CANADA – August 2, 2002 - Centrinity Inc. (TSX: CTI) today announced that Kip Bedard, vice president of corporate affairs for Micron Technology Inc. and Albert Lin, partner and portfolio manager for Meerkat Management LLC have resigned from its Board of Directors. Both directors are located in the United States.
The Board of Directors of Centrinity had 11 members and will now be comprised of nine members, including three from management. There is no intention to fill the vacancies.
In light of the Company's announcement yesterday that it has received an unsolicited expression of interest for a business combination, the Board has formed an independent committee and engaged Scotia Capital Inc. to advise them on this matter.
