Description

This is an announcement of the general availability (GA) of FirstClass Designer 9 for Windows and OS X platforms.

The new product versions are:
  • FirstClass Designer 9.104 for Windows
  • FirstClass Designer 9.105 for OS X (Universal binary for PPC and Intel machines)


Availability

FirstClass Designer 9 is available for immediate download from FirstClass OnLine FCOL (fc.firstclass.com) for customers who have a valid maintenance and support contract.

New Product Features, Fixes, and Enhancements

The new features and fixes are listed below:

  • Fixed dragging/dropping of files/images onto resource list.
  • Fixed assertion when selecting To:/From: etc. fields.
  • Fixed problem opening very large resource files - Designer previously reported them as corrupt.
  • Removed unused fields such as 3D.
  • Changed default extension/type of files to .rez from .fc
  • Fixed losing of a field when cancelling a drag/drop onto a group that is too small to contain dropped fields.
  • Added more commands to the drop down list of commands for buttons.
  • [OS X] Added save as html.
  • [OS X] Fixed problem where an editor could not be created on attributes form.
