This Product Bulletin is intended for distribution to FirstClass Division's installed base Administrators, Customer Support Center team, Business Development Center team, Account Managers, and Channel Partners.
Description
This is an announcement of the general availability (GA) of FirstClass 11 Mobile for Android™ 1.5.143.13451. It is supported on Android 2.x and later devices. The built-in languages are US English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Swedish, and Norwegian.
System Requirements
The FirstClass Mobile for Android application requires an active FirstClass account with mobile access privileges enabled, on a FirstClass 11.0 or later based server. The user must normally login to server's FirstClass Communities URL. Setup by the system administrator, the FirstClass Communities URL will be a different site address from the one used for a Windows/OS X/Linux desktop client or regular web client).
Alternatively, the system administrator may choose to offer email only access for FirstClass Mobile for Android device users if the FirstClass Communities feature has not been enabled.
Availability
FirstClass 11 Mobile for Android 1.5.143.13451 is available now from the Google play website at https://play.google.com/store.

FirstClass Mobile for Android
With FirstClass Mobile, Android device users can access their FirstClass Communities site and:
Manage their email messages in their account. Create new communities, and invite others to join them. Make, read, reply to, and monitor posts in communities. View shared images, text, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files. Upload photos to a community’s document area. Create, view, and update community wikis. Search for content, people, and communities. Manage their personal profile and My People list. Update their status message. Tell at a glance the status of persons they are following. Add personal blog entries and view others' blogs.
New Product Features and Enhancements
The new features and fixes (since FirstClass Mobile for Android 1.4.137.12103) are listed in this section.
Added Reply All with quote function. Fix for To, CC, and BCC fields clearing when changing device orientation. Fix for Android client not complying with Mobile Reconnect Period policy. Saved password will be removed when a typed password error occurs. When the Save Password box is unchecked it will clear the password. When a server error occurs, it will now display the FirstClass server error. "CID" pre-pending to recipient name on reply. Fix for attachments with image in message body making the last attachment unavailable. Embedded images in messages from the internet now display.
