The FirstClass client is the graphical front-end software to connect to FirstClass servers. It is designed for use with FirstClass 12.1 and has the trusted communication and collaboration functions of previous FirstClass client products.

1. Download the client installer file into a temporary folder.
2. Double-click the file and follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

D. New Product Features and Enhancements
New Features:
- 64 bit file transfers for: upload; attach; download. Can now upload large files (2.1 gb or more). Requires a 12.1 server
- Use of Multi-word Filter in FirstClass Client
- Assignable Calendar Tasks
Fixes:
- Auto detection of text files with no BOM marker now works for UTF8 files
- HTML messages now respect the zoom scale control in the status bar
- Fixed issue with instant chat who's online selector deleting all users in the list
- Fix for length of the urls from 300 to 2048
- MAC client no longer opens windows under the menubar on secondary monitors in Mavericks
- Converted Apple sound converter API calls
- Auto detection of text files with no BOM marker now works for UTF8 files
- HTML messages now respect the zoom scale control in the status bar
- Fixed issue with instant chat who's online selector deleting all users in the list
- SAOpenURL function on windows call the unicode variant so the length of the urls can be 2048 instead of 300
- MAC client no longer opens windows under the menubar on secondary monitors in Mavericks
- Fixed converting of core audio APIs for MP3 files
- Who's online filling will now properly respect users logged on multiple times (requires 12.1 server)
- Making sure the message list table keeps focus when selecting an HTML message and user is in 3 pane view (windows only)
- Calendar ICS file importing working for ics files that do not follow the spec for cr-lf as line endings
- File name truncation works for 12.1 and older servers correctly preserving the extension and not truncating any utf-8 characters greater than one byte in length
- All day events get re-imported to the correct day (not the day before)
- MAC: New documents that are closed with the closebox will now save the contents of the body
- Fixed invalidated deleted name remaining in name list after drag and drop
- MAC: 8 bit wave files need to be flagged as unsigned integer to play properly
- Fix GMT offset for Yekaterinburg
- Fixed crash with illegal img data urls
- Forwarding from the list view with preview pane fixed
- MAC: Toolbar drop down menu items do not update properly
- mailto urls now properly decode the + character into a space in conformance with the RFC
- MAC: Export of CSV has strange characters
- URLs pasted from chrome create untitled links.
- URLs that are dragged into the message body of FCC now create named links
- MS Office icon XLSX is different from the XLS icon
- User won't show in Who's Online if logged in while syncing
- Windows 8: Can't register as Default mail client
- Thumbnailing on an image from image properties and the creation of a thumbnail fixed
- Added missing strings from the localized files bound into the client
- Issue with mojibake in Text Viewer
- Fix for export of FC Calendar event files that will not import entirely
- Fixed broken signature image. Copy & Paste
- UTF8 text files that are viewed in the client properly translate the text even if FCP packets split the text in the middle of characters.
- vcard files that have BOM UTF8 correctly import
- Fixed sizing of specific Japanese FirstClass client form
- Fixed bug in desktop client that would leak chat invites for FCCXChats it did not understand
- Fix for UID in exported calendar events
- Various language time zone strings addressed
- Fixed check for "type=" when importing vcard version 3.0
- Various localized string fixes
Known Issues:
- Increase Width of "Alias" column in directory lookup
- Private events on group calendar (Visibility and Access)
- 0k file size if less than 1k
- Users able to edit mail list in contact database when they don't have edit permission
- Preview Pane - HTML focus issue
- Global Mail List character limit in preferences
- Deleted Invited calendar event refresh
- Multiple changes need to be accepted in seqence or a duplicate event is created
- Decline Invite doesn't delete event
- Calendar: Printing Calendar from Directory 1005 error
- Calendar: No way to cancel changes
- Declined Calendar Modification Shows different times
- All Mailboxes: Corrupt toolbar
- Calendar: Printing 4 events via dayview
- Print Punch through, calendar events no longer appear
- highlighting / clicking on an html message shifts focus
- Export Repeating events have no repeat until end time.
